IT Technician, Digital learning Support

For one of our client an International School are we looking for an IT Technician. This is a challenging contracting position starting starting in November until the end of June 2018 with permanent possibilities.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Be an integral member of a dynamic, rotating, multi-campus-based tier 1 & 2 client services team
  • Deployment and Management of MacOS, iOS and TVOS through Jamf Pr
  • Training of site-based administrators
  • App and application management
  • Windows Provisioning System
  • Working with clients through a ticketing system and face-to-face to identify, diagnose and resolve basic OS, application, network and server-access problems;
  • Work with the infrastructure team to help communicate with and manage the clients' environment
  • Test and troubleshoot upgrades to the IT system
  • Deliver, tag, set up, assist in the configuration and inventory of end-user hardware, software and peripherals
  • Troubleshoot, document and resolve end-user hardware, software-, and operating system-related issues
  • Participate in training sessions for students and teachers on using Digital Learning tools and services in support
  • Participate in regular user meetings to share knowledge, update attendees on best use practice; to identify problems and to discuss and communicate solutions;
  • Carry out additional activities, as requested, in line with the general expectations of this job description


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ITIL Tier I & Tier II hardware and software support and maintenance
  • Basic skills in database administration
  • Experience with Windows, MacOS and iOS operating systems
  • Experience with Apple Mobile Device Manager (Jamf Pro)
  • Experience with Windows provisioning system (Mirage)
  • Experience with an internal ticketing system and knowledge base (Zendesk)
  • Excellent communication skills in English - both verbal and written
  • German would be a plus
  • Effective documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
